About Competitive Examination Cell :-

Nowadays, there is a cut-throat competition in job arena. To get through any competitive examination, one requires a lot of hard work, dedication, perseverance, consistent efforts and meticulous planning. Hence, to prepare for this challenging path, the aspirants are required to take initial steps at a very early age.

Right from its inception, New Arts, Commerce and Science College, Shevgaon has produced many stalwarts who have made their mark in various fields and have contributed to the development of our nation. Of late, bureaucracy has been playing an important role in shaping the lives of people. Nation requires strong, accountable, ethical and efficient bureaucrats.Keeping this in view and demands from the stakeholders, New Arts, Commerce and Science College, Shevgaon has been running a Competitive Examination Cell to fulfil the aspirations of the students.

The college has constituted a Competitive Examination Cell to prepare the students to facedifferent competitive examinationssuch as SET / NET/ GATE / UPSC / MPSC and exams for allied services. This cell guides and prepares students to take such examinations by organizing various activities. The students are encouraged and motivatedduring interactive sessions conducted by experts. The course modules include special lectures, tests, group discussions, mock interviews etc.

 

Aims And Objectives:-

• To motivate students for prospective careers in Government and Corporate Sectors
• To provide all the necessary help and guidance needed for aspirants of UPSC, MPSC, SET/ NET, Defense services, Banks, Railways, Public sectors and corporate examinations.
• To help students prepare for Group Discussions and Interviews.
• To conduct mock interviews and train students in personality development and communication skills.
• Arranging guest lectures on various topics by eminent personalities, to impart knowledge about burning topics and current affairs usefulforexamination preparation.
• To Provide comprehensive and quality study material and guidance for students who cannot afford coaching classes.
• To update students about the forthcoming examinations and their schedule.
