Ahmednagar Jilha Maratha Vidya Prasarak Samaj is one of the leading societies involved in providing quality education to the masses. It was established in the year 1918 with a noble cause to impart education to the students from deprived classes. It started its pioneering work with the establishment of Maratha Boarding in Ahmednagar with a generous donation from Late Chhatrapati Shahu Maharaj of Kolhapur in memory of his father Late Hutatma Karveer Chhatrapati Chauthe Shivaji Maharaj. Since then, the institution has made a remarkable progress in its journey of more than hundred years.

Being true to its motto “Tejo Se Tejo Me Dehi” (O Lord Sun, enlighten me as you are), the institution has been providing holistic and inclusive education to its students through its various branches of education right from pre-primary schools to higher educational institutions.
